    This course will cover ethical topics using a case-based format, including the relationship between patient and medical laboratory professional, the allocation of scarce medical lab resources, as well as pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical ethical issues.  It will also cover the need for ethical behaviour when conducting research.

    It should take you approximately 8 hours to complete this course, including the Multiple-Choice Quizzes.

    • Be able to select a clinically useful ethical decision-making framework that incorporates moral concepts, professional ethics, and law and respects diverse values and beliefs.
